BAUERSNG-5 - NITROGEN GAS ASSIST UNIT
The Bauer Technologies Nitrogen Control Unit consists of two independently operating digital modules which are controlled through a computer. These modules pressurize the mold cavities with nitrogen, making the piece part lighter, reducing material usage, reducing cycle times and eliminating sink marks on thick walled parts.
GAS ASSISTED INJECTION MOLDING
The process of Gas Assisted Injection Molding utilizes a controlled volume of inert gas injected into the flow of molten plastic as it enters a mold. The gas does not mix with the plastic but remains in the middle of the thicker sections of molding. By controlling the gas pressure, a higher level of strength and rigidity of the molded part is achieved.
The key properties of this process include extremely high flexural modulus and tensile strength, excellent creep resistance and low moisture absorption characteristics unequalled by any other process in the industry.
Gas assist processes produce cross sections that have thin wall thicknesses and hollow center sections. For products that need light weight characteristics, or products that need to be buoyant, gas assist is the natural choice.
The result of years of research and development, Panasept Manufacturing can provides you with a full range of molding gas assist processes to meet the most demanding situations.
These are just some of the product we manufacture for our clients.
